If I were a betting man, and bookies actually took bets on this sort of thing, I would have bet that this would have been delayed until after the election on the day he was found guilty.

@Pungent P.S. When I say "Democrats" here, I do not mean people who vote Democrat. I mean people who are elected as Democrats.
@Pungent It's almost like Democrats don't actually want to stop them. Almost like they just posture like they want to stop them to garner votes and donations. It is almost like all of those people saying "two wings of the same bird" might have a point.

@MakerWerks Yep. This is what worries me. If we move away from rage marketing, a whole lot of people will be out of a job. It is almost its own industry at this point.
I fear that we, as a society, have become so addicted to rage and hate that if things were to change for the better, we would panic and demand a return to "normal".
@derblauemond Russia would be good as he could be on TV again (joking). I would almost guess Hungary as he tends to shy away from wars with the bone spurs and all. Not sure Orban would have him, though. My second guess would be one of the up and coming dictatorships in South America.
I half expect Trump to flee the country any day now. It is obvious that he knows that he can't win this election, and he won't be able to abuse the power of the presidency to avoid consequences.
On the surface, politics always boil down to whether or not racism is good.

@Jezibaba Republicans are manufacturing voter fraud concerns so that they can later point to those fraud concerns as a justification for refusing to certify state elections. This is a tried and true Republican tactic, and the DOJ is completely unwilling to do anything about it. It is hard to stand for law and order when law and order are a matter of personal financing.
