I fear that we, as a society, have become so addicted to rage and hate that if things were to change for the better, we would panic and demand a return to "normal".
@sirgeefive oh no. i keep pulling on and leaning into all the kindness i can.
if the rage & hate would stop, i'd be so happy to live in 'boring' times.
i moved provinces to get away from some of the hate. you know what? my mental health is way better.
there's still hateful assholes here. but it's a little more balanced. & the govt is not an instigator to the hate. so that helps.
@sirgeefive I'm pretty sure this is the way our media already operates. If there's not enough drama, they'll just whip some up.
@MakerWerks Yep. This is what worries me. If we move away from rage marketing, a whole lot of people will be out of a job. It is almost its own industry at this point.
@sirgeefive Given half a chance we want to exist in an environment of peace and open mindedness. Just look at what CoSo has offered and how quickly our minds decompressed from the hate site to here. It didn't take long.
@sirgeefive Nah I'm choosing to believe we're in nice mode again for at least another decade if not more. 🤞
