Well, what do you know, that theocracy is gaining traction. Hope you all have your Trump bibles ready.

Looks like all those "doomers" who were screaming about TFG never seeing any accountability for his actions were... wait for it... right all along.
Looks like all of those apologists insisting this was the complex workings of our justice system and it was justice working as intended were wrong.
The ONLY way that Democrats are going to get the message that we want them to stop licking the boots of the GOP in the name of decorum is to stop donating to them.
Let the lobbyists pay for them.
Democrats represent the corporations and financiers that support their campaigns. They do not represent the people.
GOP represents billionaires who wish to install a Theocracy and Oligarchy. They do not represent the will of the people.
Stop funding this. Stop donating to them.
A better source for what I was bitching about yesterday with Schumer helping the GOP.

Minus the paywall:
@Bix A huge number of them appear to have only voted for Trump, and no other candidates on the ballot. It is raising alarms, but not enough to get any Democrats to care enough to ask for any recounts.
@EileenKCarpenter This article answers your question.
@catlynne333 Yes
Like you needed more bad news...
Marge is joining DOGE.
This truly is the dumbest timeline.
And just like that, the whole world stopped talking about Gaetz...
Might want to look around and make sure this isn't a distraction to cover something else happening. TFG loves to snatch the news cycle with some stunt.
Vance isn't above trying the same shit.
@waywardflf This is where my cynical viewpoint comes in to play. My personal opinion is that people are being pressured to vote against their constituents best interest. They are likely being threatened with well funded (Musk) primaries or given sizable campaign donations to compensate them for their vote. This is just my cynical opinion, however. Definitely take it with a grain of salt.
@Sandywb14 The best case scenario is that Dems are pushing as many confirmations as possible while Reps are obstructing. In order to get some through, Dems cut a deal to pull 4 high profile nominees in exchange for allowing more confirmations through.
@waywardflf Allred (TX), Caraveo (CO), Case (HI), Cuellar (TX), Davis (NC), Golden (ME), Gonzales (TX), Lee (NV), Moskowitz (FL), Panetta (CA), Perez (WA), Schneider (IL), Suozzi (NY), Torres (CA) and Wasserman-Schulz (FL).
@rpardee Yeah, but I hesitated to share it on account of it being Fox. Here:
House passes HR 9495 which allows TFG to name any non-profit or advocacy group as a terrorist organization without any due process.
This was passed thanks to 15 Democrats voting with the GOP.

@Zevon Agreed. What, indeed, would be in it for them? Why on earth would they help the GOP? And yet, here they are, helping the GOP.
Making deals helps preserve power structures. What all of these people want is to stay in power. Assurances that their seat is safe goes a long way.
When government means becoming a multi-millionaire almost instantly, what could possibly motivate them?
Schumer agrees to allow GOP to fill 4 appellate court appointments.
If you wonder why I seem to have suddenly turned on the Democrats and started to call them out for helping, this is why.
I am not doing a both-sides argument here, the GOP is absolutely beyond the pale in atrocities. I am saying Democrats are actively helping them while pretending to be opposed to them. It is all for appearances, and the Democrats are working with the GOP.
I got this strange job offer that appears to be a crypto scam. I haven't taken any steps to continue with the offer, but I have taken some steps to investigate the legitimacy of it.
It has a 21 day probation period where the employee would have to perform crypto transactions.
It also has some pretty sketchy English in the Job description:
"The main responsibility is invest of income and remittances received from the Sales of mobile application."
