Schumer agrees to allow GOP to fill 4 appellate court appointments.
If you wonder why I seem to have suddenly turned on the Democrats and started to call them out for helping, this is why.
I am not doing a both-sides argument here, the GOP is absolutely beyond the pale in atrocities. I am saying Democrats are actively helping them while pretending to be opposed to them. It is all for appearances, and the Democrats are working with the GOP.

Making deals helps preserve power structures. What all of these people want is to stay in power. Assurances that their seat is safe goes a long way.

@Sandywb14 The best case scenario is that Dems are pushing as many confirmations as possible while Reps are obstructing. In order to get some through, Dems cut a deal to pull 4 high profile nominees in exchange for allowing more confirmations through.
