TFW a 4 am feeding turns into an hour+ long odyssey of scream-crying, diaper changing, swaddling, rocking, and humming kumbaya very softly until she finally falls asleep. Then putting her down in the bassinet like she’s a bomb wired to blow. 😅 I don’t remember ANY lullabies but something about her cries just pries those songs out of some deep memory bank, I guess out of desperation. I love this kid but I. Am. So. Tired. 😓🥱😴 happy 7 weeks, kiddo. Daddy’s doing his best.

Beat Elden Ring today and I think it's one of the top 10 best games I've played ever. Great experience, great art style, just worth the time in every way. Taking a little break but I'm already thinking of playing through again this time with a Strength/Faith build. I don't replay games often but I'm ready to go right back in! Highly recommended.

@Chigliak one of the most important early parts of the ur-fascist mission Trump was on was giving his supporters permission to be hateful and bigoted. They saw him get away with it without consequences and they realized they didn’t have to hide their own hateful behavior anymore. The cruelty is the point.

@davidkfiction I ran a game of CoC a few years back with the Secrets of Tibet supplement. Very memorable! CoC is a great palate cleanser between more standard power fantasy type games. 😂 Discretion is the better part of valor!

@corlin if you want a foothold their albums Super Ae and Vision Creation Newsun are probably the most accessible and prog/ambient-ish, their earlier stuff maybe requires an appreciation for dissonance & harsh noise 😅 though it’s also brilliant.

Since you posted that you like experimental music🙂 one of my favorite Japanese bands is The Boredoms, they take punk and twist it into its most grotesque and primitive form, then elevate that into something transcendent.
