@cassandra17lina I've said this before, and it bears repeating. We should have a political donation cap that applies to everyone (including corporations). You're allowed to contribution up to $5000 more than you pay in federal taxes.

If you want to throw around money like Elmo, you ought to have at least paid that much in taxes. No representation without taxation.

@matuzalem Well, for statehood, they have to ratify, not just the congress, or at least that was my recollection, and they've voted it down in the past. The congress also has to ratify it, but we can't force them to be a state.
