I thought of something tonight while walking into my favorite local pizza restaurant. Is there a food smell that just rips you out of whatever you're doing and throws you into happy memories? The smell of the pizza from this particular place does that for me. I've been going there since I was a kid and have so many memories of family dinners spent in a booth in there, dropping quarters into their jukebox and picking all the BonJovi songs. π
Figured I've earned the right to wear this shirt now that I've completed the Transylvania virtual challenge. I just kinda feel the shirts lack something. Maybe a back side that more visibly shows "Conqueror Challenge" so people know what it's for? π€·ββοΈ Either way, I'm happy to have finished it and I'm already miles into the next adventure.
Progress! Time for Second Breakfast, which just means more coffee.
I kept hearing a strange noise last night while I was trying to sleep and now I'm wondering if it was actually a dream. I kept hearing a sound like something rolling around or maybe back and forth on my wood floor. It sounded like a marble rolling or even that wood on wood sound. I remember thinking "what if that's a mouse???" but in my sleep somewhere I think I figured it out. So maybe it was all a dream? In my dream was the "oh, it's this..." Moment. So weird.
If I ever have to catch McGee to go to the vet or anything, all I have to do is set out a paper bag.
My boyfriend finally got around to doing a little photo magic on my Halloween party photo from last weekend. Sadly, no one at the party was nerdy enough to recognize what I was going for.
Onto my next challenge!! This one's a little different because it's not a real place, so there's no Google street view to see while you go, but that's ok!
Woo! I finished it! My virtual trek through Transylvania is over. There's a tree pretty much at the center of where they have the finish line. Seems to be in a park. On to the next challenge!!
I am *so* tired of being left alone at the front desk because my coworker has to leave to pick up her boyfriend's kids from the bus stop on Wednesdays. It's like they radio dispatch all of our clients to show up and/or call at once when I'm alone. I'm so exhausted. I keep telling myself it's only temporary until his broken leg heals and he can drive again, but it's still not any easier.
Product of '82. Mentally exhausted. Books are love. Obsessed with my dog. I like dinosaurs. I also have a potty mouth. Darmok & Jalad at Tanagra.
