I guess if it *is* a rodent of some kind in my wall.. that would explain the weird rolling noise I heard a while back. Sounded like something being rolled back and forth under my bed. Could have been inside the wall I guess. Eek.

I may be going crazy. I was hearing a bizarre fluttering sound in my bedroom. Can't find anything. WTF??

Another weird dream alert. This time there was an alternate reality dimension thing going on. There was one entrance to it inside a mall and everything was very similar to this side, just slightly different. We had a big storm on our side that caused a lot of damage, but on their side it didn't do anything. At one point I had to go searching for our Oprah because she was lost in there and I needed to get her out before they realized she didn't being there.

The tattoo shop in town where I got the Stargate tattoo as tribute to my dad is a family run shop. The father and 3 of his kids are all artists and the mother is an RN who acts like the "shop mom" and is there in case anyone faints or gets a weird reaction. She's quite the character and has an enormous love of Taylor Swift, so when I go for my next appointment in a month, I'm bringing them a present. 😂 I thought of her immediately when I saw it.

So when I saw they were coming out with another Kindle, but in color, I was like "ehhhh why do I need that??" I was wrong. I definitely need it. I keep seeing photos of people using it for comics and graphic novels and they look amazing. It makes them look like vintage comics because the color is softer and slightly muted. Like a Paperwhite, but colored. I.. I.. need the thing. It's so pretty.

It looks a little funny because the glue is drying.. but I finished my latest diamond painting!!

Holy crap, the amount of spammy calls I've been getting lately is insane. Despite having an app that's supposed to take care of the spam and scam calls for me. These people are relentless.

I have zero desire to be up and moving today. I hate that I have guilt about calling out of work because I know how much it sucks for the rest of us when someone does that. (Very small understaffed vet hospital.) I could really use a mental health day.

Very excited! I preordered the Cabinet of Curiosities book for one of my favorite podcasts and it arrived today! If you haven't listened to that or Lore, give them both a listen. Aaron Mahnke's voice just soothes me while he tells me about fun things.

Everyone has someone in their life that would rather complain about something than thank you for doing it for them. That's my mother. I put a motion light on the house for when she pulls in the driveway at night and it works 1/2 of the time. She will complain every time it doesn't go on. Well, I'm sorry. Go buy yourself a more expensive one and have at it. 🤷‍♀️ It's so frustrating.

We lost a patient under anesthesia today (dog) and it took a toll on all of us. Poor little Tootsie. Such a sweet little old girl. Her pre-anesthetic bloodwork didn't show anything weird. My boss has been beating herself up all day. Sometimes this stuff just happens, but it still sucks.

I had a super bizarre dream where my mother went to order something gluten free for my upcoming birthday which wasn't even happening for 2 weeks and expected that item to still be edible at that point. She ordered it from my cousin's ex, who doesn't even bake. The rest of the dream is me trying to plan my own party and telling people what she's done. It was a weird dream. FYI.. my birthday isnt even anywhere near now. It's in April.
