I did another first time adult thing and bought a lawn mower. The one we had, the last one my dad bought, wasn't self-propelled and it was so hard to push on the parts of my yard that slope. We assembled the new one today and holy crap. You barely have to tap the throttle bar and its front end is lifting off like a dragster. This will take some adjustment.

@vo1de I've done something similar on the metal stand that holds my dog's dishes. His name is Nimoy and I added a little science insignia to the stand. πŸ˜‚

And now it's framed! This was such a great concert experience. And he's such a kind human being.

@arthurpendragon Yeah, but it'll cost more in gas than I get paid for that 30 minutes. It's so stupid.

We haven't had a work meeting in a while and my boss chooses to do one on my day off and everyone is expected to attend. I hate everything about this. Just ruins my whole day of doing nothing. (And before anyone asks, we're a veterinary hospital, not a regular office where we can do this crap on Zoom.)

Phew! Coworker texted that she was running late. I was worried I was going to be stuck managing a two-doctor day by myself.

It's making me very nervous that my coworker isn't here yet.

@q00w2 Slowing down is fine, but when the work week feels like it should be over when it just started.. that's not good. πŸ˜‚ Today was exhausting.

When cars come flying into the parking lot 5 minutes before we close, I always get nervous. Luckily it was just someone dropping off food and a blanket for her cat that's boarding with us. Phew!

Me, the morning after a concert that ended at 11:15 last night: "Everything hurts and I'm dying."

@amarand it's a cute little cozy place. Has a nice vibe for small shows.
