I got through one whole book in September. To be fair, it was over 1000 pages. πŸ˜‚

Apparently this book I picked up at a thrift shop is part of a huge set. Because I'm a completionist and a book goblin.. I must have them all. Apparently they're old and I'll be piecing it together probably from eBay or sheer dumb luck. Weeeeee!!!!

I always have a hard time deciding what to read next, so I filled an old gumball machine with the names of all the books I have so I don't have to think about it. I keep thinking though that next year maybe I'll go through all the Terry Pratchett books I have and finally read them all. I need a goal.

Literally a box of happiness. My complete set of paperbacks from Elisabeth Wheatley came today! With the new covers to match her new release! So excited!

I came across the author Elisabeth Wheatley through FB via her adorable videos she's created of her "book goblin" character. I've since preordered her whole upcoming set of paperbacks AND this new tote bag just arrived. I love it. If you're into romantic fantasy that's only a little spicy, she's your girl.

Ok, new favorite book. A character finally asked the question we all want to know the answer to. How do soldiers poop in armor?

Sooooo the bookcase my boyfriend got me for Valentine's Day is full already. Oops? At least the books are out of the boxes I had them piled in.

Ok, I'm already hooked on this book. In the first chapter I find out the main character does search and rescue with her bloodhound named Greta to find missing kids. I'm sold.

Onto my next book! I've been trying to finish the A to Z challenge I started last year, and I've made it to V! I've never read a Jodi Picoult book, so here's hoping!

Discovered a new book store! This kid (I say kid because I could probably be his mother) started the business in 2021 and rents a warehouse space. Only opens monthly for sales and people FLOCK to it. So chaotic but fun to look for things for my growing library.

Finished The Time Collector, and it had an ending I wasn't expecting, but as it approached I started suspecting. Onto my next read through the alphabet.

My boyfriend is taking me to a giant used bookstore tomorrow for our anniversary and buying me books. I guess I'll keep him.

Onto the next book in my A to Z challenge which it's taking me forever to get through. It's almost October and I'm only on N. I got this.

Do I read more of my current book (The Martian) or watch more of my current anime (A Bridge to the Starry Skies)? I'm voting for the anime. It's cute and I need that right now.

Just a brief one today. Finished Lamb, by Christopher Moore, yesterday and started The Martian, by Andy Weir, today.
