@Kaysymmetry I tend to stick to the same single brand and type so I can't be disappointed. Then when they discontinue it, I wanna cry because I have to start the search for a favorite shoe all over again.
Next up on my massive list of shows I started and never watched all of is Broadchurch. I loved it so much when it came out and then got distracted by something else, like I do. Time for some quality time with David Tennant.
@ACG2 @BlueStateBabe I really enjoyed it. I mean, I'm not old enough to have experienced the original, but I grew up on Star Trek TNG, Stargate and all kinds of other random sci-fi shows and movies in the late 80s/early 90s and beyond thanks to my dad's influence. Edward James Olmos is a great Admiral Adama. I think it's worth a watch.
Compassion fatigue is real. I just almost burst into tears because my boss told me to tell the super nice client with the dog with bone cancer that can't get up that we all love that she would have to take her to an ER because she was to booked to see her today and I did NOT want to pick that phone back up and turn her away. Thank goodness she changed her mind and told me to have her come down. That would have broken me this week. π
@MotherDucker OMG I would love a 73 degree day instead of all these 90s. Yuck.
Today was a day, folks. I needed two whole hugs from my coworker who gives great hugs. At one point, clients came for their dog's vaccine appointment and showed up with 2 other dogs and asked for nail trims on all of them. We've been short staffed forever. So that's a no. Then they asked for copies of all their records because they're moving. THEN I overhear "what's taking so long??" while I'm trying to copy records for their 4 pets. I should have gone slower. π
My ankles are all bit up from hanging out at my friend's little BBQ last night. We couldn't get the fire going for a while because the wood was damp, so we couldn't keep the bugs at bay as well as previous hang outs. I'm just assuming these are all mosquito bites. No amount of Benadryl or cortisone cream is helping me. I even tried drying them out with hand sanitizer. So itchy!!!!
We worked so hard on this. π Not bad for some slightly damp wood because it rained this morning.
At one point, Daniel Radcliffe is trying to find the bathroom, and this dream was not set up like an actual RV. There were rooms and an open floorplan that made no sense and all these random maze-like stall doors when he finally did find a bathroom. And some lady joked with him about trying to watch him pee and was basically asking him what he's got in his pants. His answer in my dream was "Nagini." Dick jokes in my dream. And also Jason Statham was there? Just because? π€·ββοΈ That's basically it.
Had the weirdest dream. One of those where you aren't really in the dream, you're just watching it from someone's perspective. That someone in mine was Daniel Radcliffe. So in the dream, there's a young person (I think a boy?) that's trying to escape some kind of oppression and this merry band of misfits is trying to help them get away. Sharon, Lois and Bram.. from a childhood TV show, rented us a big RV for this plan. As it progressed, more people showed up. (continued)
The humidity today is bonkers. It's dark out finally and I'm still feeling it in my house. This air conditioner just can't keep up.
It would have been nicer if it left them in the order they were when I was uploading them. #facepalm
