I am officially in remission but my lymphocytes have been dropping and I am at a weird point where the common cold will lay me out for weeks. On Nov 8 I go to see a hematologist in an effort to find answers - radiation oncologist said this is not from my treatment, so I need answers. And lymphocytes.

Laters, CoSo. A break is necessary. I shared trauma of xenophobic harassment due to my accent and someone responded by saying I horrified them by not wanting to lose my accent but instead persisting in being unintelligible. There are exactly two Nauts who have heard me speak. This person is not either one of them.

I do believe I speak the language correctly. Since I got a Ph.D. at Rutgers and dealt with all the aspects of written and oral expression involved in the process, I think we can lay the 'correct' point to rest. In my 22 years of post-PhD teaching, nobody has ever said that my accent interfered with comprehension. Yet you pronounced me 'unintelligible' on the basis of a brief written post and declared me 'unwilling to learn'. Unlike you, I will sleep soundly, though.

I have no intention of losing my accent. It is a badge of honor of a trilingual person. While I am sure that your comment comes from a good place, as they say, it also seems to me that it comes from a place that doesn't share my experiences.

Not that it solves delegation, but I have long thought that there should be different amounts we could pay for Pro membership. I know we can donate and there is Patreon etc. but it would be easier to just choose to pay $5 or $10 or $15 as a monthly debit
