there was a night when 4 of us really worked through to the meaning of the universe... it had something to do with light and the direction north... it's a bit vague 54 years later. But it was a revelation that night.
On the down side, I had a friend who felt that his onset of progressive schizophrenia was due to the amount of LSD he did back then.

Had a weird dream where everything true in real life was amped up. The whole house was a jumble of random objects scattered everywhere, and there were Rodents of Unusual Size to battle. I think that’s the first Princess Bride reference to show up in a dream.

Just heard the song Seasons in the Sun. I loved it when I was a kid. And the lyrics are the least vomituous lines Rod McCuen ever wrote. They creak a bit, but the tune carries them along. (I’m a regular Robert Christgau.)
