the rub I make has:
black bean paste
minced garlic
fresh grated ginger
lemon pepper
dark soy sauce
olive oil
sesame oil

this is rubbed in all over & let stand in fridge for at least 1 hr before roasting
i also toss the potatoes in the same stuff!
