I was using Chrome, now I am using Firefox. From here I am able to switch my theme to light theme, that works, & logged out & back in, light theme remained. That was true with Chrome, too.
But, when I selected the menu option Switch to Simplified Mode, it was slow redrawing the page, after which the posts did not load, only the endless spinning wheel & the little message that it was trying to load posts.

While testing some anomalies I've been experiencing in COSO Desktop, I've switched browsers (from Chrome) to Firefox. Here's what I've experienced:
I switched themes (from dark mode) to Light Mode. That worked. Then I logged out of COSO & logged back in. Light Mode remained persistent. Good.

While testing some anomalies I've been experiencing in COSO Desktop, I've switched browsers (from Chrome) to Firefox. Here's what I've experienced:
I attempted to Switch to Simplified Mode, but it is very slow changing the screen configuration, then it gets stuck in an endless loop while trying to load posts (from Community Firehose). Never finishes, just a spinning wheel & an empty page, no posts.

@ps9714 We used to live in an ideal world ... politically anyway. It was called the 1060's. POTUS debates were simulcast across the three major TV networks. The news was fact-checked prior to broadcast. Opinion pieces were always delivered seperately.

@th3j35t3r It's not the ad blocker (it's been off for this site the entire time), but might be the norton antitracker extension (I don't think I can disable it for specific sites).

You can't really decide that Biden 'lost' the 'debate' when Trump's constant string of lies killed all pretense of it actually being a debate. Biden seemed a bit flabbergasted at the flood of lies spilling from 's face, lies that went way off the question being asked of him.
I'd like to see Harris debate Trump but don't expect it to happen.
