An ex employee came in today to order parts and the look on his face when he saw he'd have to deal with me was that of a kid who dropped his ice cream on the sidewalk. Not gonna lie, I was struggling not to show my evil glee.

I was going to make my "what's the temperature?" "there ain't none" joke, but the warmest I had on my drive in was -3Β°.

If you forgot to get me something for my birthday, don't feel bad. It tends to sneak up on folks. A really great gift would be if you bought one of my books or audiobooks and posted a review.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IAN WE GOT YOU AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT PLEASE ENJOY AND HAVE A GREAT ONE

Heading back to work today for . I got the first full night's sleep since catching the covid and actually feel pretty good today.

"Dearest Gwendolyn,
Our battle against the Covid rages on, but by the grace of our Lord we have them on the retreat. The men have successfully won the day in Congestion Valley and only pockets of resistance remain. They still have stubborn forces dug into the flanks of Mt. Fever and Mt. Migraine, but we plan to charge those today. May we be successful! With luck, I shall be home for James, Jr.'s birthday.

My love to you and your mother,

Sgt. James Cell
143rd Immune Response Brigade"

I have now joined the ranks of billions of other humans worldwide, in that I have now tested positive for Covid. Took a few years, but it finally caught up with me.

This is an appreciation post for my coworker who came to work sick last week with Kroger Generic Respiratory Virus and gave it to me as an early present for my birthday week.

What a guy.

Anytime you get told your technical problem is getting escalated to level 2, you know you're well and truly fucked.

Anyone else watching Tor vs NY in the PWHL tonight? Did you know they are streaming PWHL games live on YouTube free?

Anybody else feel incredibly cheated when your cutie orange won't peel neatly?

I left my lunch at home in the fridge in case anyone wants to bring me something.

I got my website repaired and rebuilt (still a work in progress), so now I can restart the ole blog. Ianthealy.com/author if you wanna follow it.

As a rule, I'm opposed to most applications for AI in the writing industry, but as an author with a lengthy series, I did just think of a way an AI could be very useful to me: building a wiki from my content. Basically, it would make my series bible so I don't have to dig through book after book trying to find that one obscure character's name or a specific timeline of events.
