Someone I don't know commented on one of my posts on my business page "Reimagining DC and Marvel characters since 2016." I can't decide if that's a compliment or an insult. I've been publishing Just Cause Universe books since 2011, and haven't ever intentionally copied characters from other companies. On the other hand, I can see how someone would look at, say, Mustang Sally and say "Oh, she's the Flash." Am I reading too much into a single comment? #cosobooks #impostorsyndrome

I just saw a classic Super-Friends Era Aquaman balloon in the store and I'm like, WHY?? What kid is clamoring for that? "Mommy, for my birthday I want the balloon of the guy who rides a jet ski and talks to fish. Superman and Batman can go fuck themselves."
