I saw this awfulness and really hope it’s faked but I bet it’s not and I also don’t know how to tell. I guess it doesn’t matter but how the fuck would this guy think he and his psycho comrades are going to move a house’s worth of large, looted items back to wherever the hell they came from? @th3j35t3r, @Render is that at all likely if the asshole even makes it back to Russia alive? 😔🤬https://twitter.com/uchoose_info/status/1505926968545533960
@Render Jeez this is such an obvious point that as a cold climate person, stupidly I never considered about the shocking climate difference for people who may never have never experienced weather colder than 40-50 Fahrenheit. @_Ms_J @jordicusmaximus @process
@process His tactical stomach was too small for his strategic eyes.
He surrounded himself with yes-men who feared to tell him the truth, and he believed their lies.
Yes, the smaller pincer was very doable. The middle pincer was also doable, if that was the sole focus (and might have won them the war in a matter of days). The larger pincer was always well beyond their reach.
Stupidly they attempted to do all three pincers at the same time.
Ukraine was neither shocked nor awed.
An excellent thread detailing the logistics problems that I predicted would end the Russian advance.
@Valkai Not all, but it’s not uncommon. Better engineers and better English than most engineers from cheaper, supposedly English speaking countries. @Render @th3j35t3r
@Render Exactly. This is real and employees are frightened and don’t know what’s happening. @th3j35t3r
Russian FSB agents went to homes of top Google and Apple officials and threatened to take them to prison.
Part of a massive Kremlin pressure campaign against US tech now accelerating amid Ukraine war.
Lol. I was in the drive-through of a Sonic once and two teenaged boys were working on the marquee. One was up on the marquee and had accidentally written, “Come and die with us!” and the other was at the bottom of the ladder laughing hysterically🙂 @th3j35t3r
I have no way to confirm the contents of this thread. But from what I've seen so far, I have absolutely no doubt that it's all true.

Emergency online conference of mayors from Mariupol, Kharkiv, Trostianets (Sumy region), Merefa (Kharkiv region), and Zhytomyr organized by the Ministry for Regional Development.
@evamarie See pinned toot.
I think that they're winning.
The world, the mass media, maybe even many of the Ukrainian politicians and people don't know that yet.
But I also think that the Ukr military does know that, and they know that time is on their side.
Apparently the Ukr 93rd Mechanized Brigade went berserk again yesterday.
Outside of Kharkiv. Counter-attacking into the flank of a Russian armored brigade from 6th CAA.
They captured 8 T-72B's and destroyed twice as many others before withdrawing back into their own lines.
-
Ukr 1st Armored Brigade also counter attacked outside of Cheriniv on the northern front. Destroying another dozen T-72B's (apparently from Russian 35th CAA).
@Thumprhare, can’t help you much. My husband was surprised at me last night when I didn’t argue his point that if the only outcomes are “nuclear escalation” and “Putin gets to basically do whatever he wants”, then “the world against Putin; he needs to be removed” feels correct. He’s a fucking extortionist. @Render @Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine @Deweyoxberg
@Irishroze, my dad also raised me to know we were nuke targets. I’m an ‘80s public school kid and they did used to teach it. But only a handful of us paid attention, and we certainly did not have our peers’ respect for it. We have become a really dumb country. Anyway, naive policy w/Obama followed by 4 years of whatever the fuck we can even call the Trump-and-sheep, Putin-enamored shit show. Ugh. @Render @Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine @janallmac @Deweyoxberg
Siberians from the 69th Covering Brigade of the 35th Combined Arms Army from the Eastern Military District. Formerly tasked with border patrol duties between the Jewish Autonomous Region and China. Equipped with T-72B's and BMP-2's. In the Cold War they would have been known a Category III unit (combat capable, but not really). Mostly conscripts. They aren't issued boots, have to buy their footwear. They're lucky they have helmets. Some modify their rifles out of pocket.
I'm so tired. But I love the world.
