I saw this awfulness and really hope it’s faked but I bet it’s not and I also don’t know how to tell. Yes, the smaller pincer was very doable. The middle pincer was also doable, if that was the sole focus (and might have won them the war in a matter of days). The larger pincer was always well beyond their reach.
Stupidly they attempted to do all three pincers at the same time.
Ukraine was neither shocked nor awed.

That T-72B models are showing up, and getting taken out in large numbers means that Russia has run out of or run very low on their top of the line "modern" tanks.
Those tanks come from Category II units.

Apparently the Ukr 93rd Mechanized Brigade went berserk again yesterday.
Outside of Kharkiv. Counter-attacking into the flank of a Russian armored brigade from 6th CAA.
They captured 8 T-72B's and destroyed twice as many others before withdrawing back into their own lines.

Ukr 1st Armored Brigade also counter attacked outside of Cheriniv on the northern front. Destroying another dozen T-72B's (apparently from Russian 35th CAA).

@Irishroze, my dad also raised me to know we were nuke targets. I’m an ‘80s public school kid and they did used to teach it. But only a handful of us paid attention, and we certainly did not have our peers’ respect for it. We have become a really dumb country. Siberians from the 69th Covering Brigade of the 35th Combined Arms Army from the Eastern Military District. Formerly tasked with border patrol duties between the Jewish Autonomous Region and China. Equipped with T-72B's and BMP-2's. In the Cold War they would have been known a Category III unit (combat capable, but not really). Mostly conscripts. They aren't issued boots, have to buy their footwear. They're lucky they have helmets. Some modify their rifles out of pocket.
