@Lindy Yes, it is. The river here braids out into several very shallow streams and are fun to wade with a camera.
@poemblaze on hot days, it's perfect
@process Looking at cooler temps moving in here. It’s been hot and dry. I have a feeling the colors won’t be good this year.
@process It was beautiful today. Leaves are just starting to change. It will look good in the fall colors too!
@Janet Thank you!
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine My daughter lives in Bethel Alaska. They are about 40 miles inland from the coast. They had high winds and a little flooding in her town, but things are OK. The coastal villages and towns were hit very hard. Major flooding and high winds pushed some homes of their foundations, and some were lost out to sea. She has friends in some of the worst hit areas but so far, no reports of loss of lives. Nome had a bad structural fire during the height of the storm.
@JeSsA It is beautiful! The artist is a real talent and though he is trying to stay focused he is taking time to talk to anyone who stops by. The mural is on the side of the local senior center, and he is more than happy to listen to members of the center as they come and go.
@JeSsA I am really happy I get to watch and capture this on film. There are still a few more days to go. When I was much younger, I did a lot of caulk and pencil work so this has been a real treat for me.
@Lindy I spent yesterday morning in a local butterfly house. I was there early enough to watch the butterflies warm up and start to move. It gave me time to look for caterpillars and cocoons.
@damselfly59 Maybe! Just a cuter version. This one is about to cocoon. I saw some others that were green.
