@StarlightEmber That is really cool. A secret Garden type of thing. When my daughter was young, we would look for places like that!
@StarlightEmber Beautiful! I always look for the tunnels into the trees. I often find hidden treasures there.

@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine The Night Sky workshop I was in also has a winter dogsleding workshop that looks really good! The ice caves are becoming very popular now. More people in the winter. I have tent camped Tahquamenon Falls State Park in February before. That is an incredible trip too!
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine I was up there in from Sept 14th - 20th. The first three days I was part of a Night Sky Photography Workshop. We were able to spend three nights in the Seney National Wildlife Refuge shooting the stars. After that I spent three nights in Munising chasing waterfalls. It was a much-needed escape from life!
@LadyZurk Thank you!
@Lindy We see the aurora pretty regularly. Last night was a little bigger than usual though. It was clear and I was in an area where I could get a good view. I got before sunset and stayed until 12:30. The aurora last until 4-5 am.
After Dark. This morning around 1:30 am. There is a lot of night pollution around here, plus the nearly full moon was rising behind me.
