@gettinaway Wow! I didn't realize you could see the aurora in MI. Beautiful shot of those falls.

@Lindy We see the aurora pretty regularly. Last night was a little bigger than usual though. It was clear and I was in an area where I could get a good view. I got before sunset and stayed until 12:30. The aurora last until 4-5 am.

@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine I was up there in from Sept 14th - 20th. The first three days I was part of a Night Sky Photography Workshop. We were able to spend three nights in the Seney National Wildlife Refuge shooting the stars. After that I spent three nights in Munising chasing waterfalls. It was a much-needed escape from life!

@gettinaway I want to go up there dogsledding this winter in the worst way. Prolly can't go this year. But yes. Maybe just a little trip to the ice caves!

@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine The Night Sky workshop I was in also has a winter dogsleding workshop that looks really good! The ice caves are becoming very popular now. More people in the winter. I have tent camped Tahquamenon Falls State Park in February before. That is an incredible trip too!
