Foolishly motivated by vanity and an abject unwillingness to accept aging while disabled, I've reached the point of surrender: it's absolutely time to buy a cane. Funny that this reality is manifesting because it's now pretty much a given that I won't be able to vote in person without a mobility aid. Non-negotiable motivation is what it is.

It is with great relief that this round of Oscopygeddon is officially concluded. Decent preliminary findings: no new polyps and no new damage throughout my GI tract. Best part: keeping Endo on biannual schedule, but backend is spared for SEVEN years -- halle-freakin'-lujah! 😁

Experience has taught me more than a few times to not underestimate the ability of people, places, and things from the past to impact my sense of well being, whether it's physical, psychological, or spiritual. After all factors and considerations are weighed, it often boils down to that my overall wellness, the desire to be of service not withstanding, is not negotiable.
