@Idissent yep. just further proof that "Democrats for Cruz" is all DINOs.

@Xponent_Rob the DNC really needs to start kicking these people out of the party. or do some vetting before they let people run on the Dem ticket. I'm fucking sick of these Jim Jordan types running as Dems just because they know it's a deep blue seat.

maybe if we ever get ranked choice voting we can just abolish the party system entirely and make people run on POLICY instead.

@BreakingNews could one of those hurricanes manage to move toward Texas instead? 😰

this lady just did an ad supporting Ted Cruz. I hope she gets primaried to hell.

@Magnetron1 I'm guessing no trailer lights, but it could also be that that truck isn't legal for towing heavy machinery?

lmfao these people are straight up delusional. the only reason I know Cruz is even running is a single tiny-ass sign in front of the public library and the deluge of ads from ALLRED about all the women harmed or killed by Ted's abortion ban. Come on... TED 😂

lol that's not Cruz pulling to the center. that's Cruz misrepresenting the steady 5% of Texas polling respondents who call themselves Democrats but then support every far-right policy and candidate on the ballot.

you know, Dixiecrats.

this should be much bigger news, I actually find this even more shocking than their endorsement of Harris. it's one thing to argue that you're a Republican but you can't support Trump for president because he's an existential threat to democracy. but extending that to Senate Republicans? I mean is that even their argument? or has the GOP cancer basically turned them into Democrats?

Trump built his wall: from the bricks of a building ravaged by hurricane Helene.

This is how much he cares about Americans: he wants a wall between him and them.

(Mexico didn’t pay for this one either)

@Bix "a relatively comfortable win" is DEFINITELY not a phrase i want to hear in this election. nothing is guaranteed and we need to run from complacency, not breed it.

the breakdowns on this were so depressing. NONE of them had a "very favorable" impression of walz pre-debate. multiple people were either misinformed or completely uninformed. the harris-trump swinger was ideologically all over the place and NONE of them seemed to clock that JD was straight LYING HIS ASS OFF THE ENTIRE TIME.

god help us all, the fate of the country is in the hands of these idiots.

@VelvetDuchess also, the union pres is a trump supporter and fighting automation is a losing battle. he's calling for this strike primarily to hurt the dems going into the election.

@VelvetDuchess the journalistic malfeasance on that piece is staggering. WH doesn't "back the strike," they back a DEAL to AVERT a strike. saying they back the strike and then saying the strike will raise prices on everything is feeding into the trump narrative that dems = higher prices.

@evistre i think it's equally painful but in different ways.

listening to trump was so painful i had to mute him when he was speaking, which meant i ended up missing big chunks of the debate because i didn't know when to change tabs and unmute.

listening to vance was so painful i bounced out of the debate entirely, hearing walz was not worth the pain of listening to vance. especially when walz kept saying he fucking agreed with the guy...
