Followers may be surprised that I am both a Christian and love science but I do. Here are two videos exploring the science behind the Christmas star as described in scripture. While we cannot draw a clear conclusion about what it was we can rule out some possibilities.

Merry Christmas! If you are/were not able to attend a worship service today and want to here was mine. The band led us in singing contemporary worship songs and then the pastor gave a short sermon.

2\ While I do miss them I'm not sad. Do you know why? It's because those that have passed were believers. I believe they are in heaven and that I will be with them again some day.

Jesus conquered death. In this is , the great hope of , that death is but a gateway to a new life for everyone that puts their faith in God for salvation. Our sin nature, that part of us this is selfish and imperfect and gets in the way of us doing good, will be stripped away leaving only goodness.

Another great podcast. I will have to ruminate on what I learned. The more I learn about scripture the more I think it was very practical in its day. That has been obscured over the past several millennia. We can recover that and we should.

These are wonderful podcasts. The two hosts have a great chemistry together. This series gently explains and explores christian theology through the lens of ancient Israel. Personally, I'm learning a lot. Won't you join me in that journey?

Christianity and science are not contradictory. They are not opposites and science hasn't disproven the need for God's existence. Read this passage describing an ancient airborne illness. In the same verse the afflicted are commanded to wear a mask (cover the upper lip) and be socially distant (cry out "Unclean!" so others stay away). This was good medical advice back then and remains best practice now with the pandemic.

Good morning CoSo!

American Christians are known more for what they are against than what they stand for. This is wrong and violates the biblical principles found in 1 Corinthians 5:11-13. Recall Jesus' words that it should be "our love for one another" that will identify us as Christians to the outside world. Instead of protesting (outward) we need to clean our house (inward) and see to the spiritual upbringing of our own.

Good morning CoSo!

We have seen this firsthand over the past few years as American embraced the orange lie. Do not be deceived.
