Endless Sky is a fun game, challenging storylines, incredible variety of ways to configure your fleet and strategy. Free, too!

The sky is blue because it's usually about 30% to 90% water vapor, which scatters small wavelengths of light. Clouds are areas of the sky where humidity, pressure, and temperature combine to allow the water vapor to condense enough that all visible light is scattered.

Just FYI.

I know this ELI5 answer because my son asked me why the sky is blue, way back in 1986, when he was 5.

He must have explained it to his son, because my grandson didn't ask me.

Had some high clouds last night, but got an aurora pic anyway:

@apetrusk Grandchildren are the reason to have children.

Good one!

Merrick fucking Garland ignored
"an environment that allowed financial and political crimes to flourish."

He's a tool of the ultra-rich who own us. His slow-walking Trump prosecution betrays his synarchist loyalties.

Grrr.

@LnzyHou Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

DEI basically encourages minority, disabled, and LGBTQ+ policies. It's mainly the "T" that's got their panties in a twist.

@LnzyHou
Tractor Supply just scrapped their DEI program because of pressure from the right wing. So did John Deere and Harley Davidson.

Humans excel at logistics - set up a system and they'll figure out how to game it.

Instead of living and meeting all in DC, use live cams and convention centers. Certainly committees would be simple to run.

At least one Federal Building in every state with a SCIF, secure data to each Congressional district office - it's not rocket science. Besides, we can do rocket science if we want.

@OldDude71
Except healthcare facilities can't get enough nurses, aides, and housekeepers now.

Where are the home health workers going to come from?

@BrentSullivan @JLong

Each Congressman has 15 aides, doing the actual work. They're unelected, and usually inexperienced. The Congressman has 2 jobs:

1) Raising money
b) Voting on bills as directed by the people giving them money

Article the First was brilliant and prescient. Turns out it takes 1 person to service the needs of 50,000 citizens. That's the ratio we have, but they're not elected.

There won't be a need to raise millions for re-election if you only need to reach 50,000.

@BrentSullivan @JLong

Fix Congress by finally ratifying Article the First.
The Bill of Rights had 12 amendments. The first one one of them set congressional representation at 1 : 50,000. There should be 6,000+ Congressmen.

Phew, indeed.

Fucking media where Bob Woodward sitting on damning, important facts just so he can sell more books.

What a prick.

The VA clinic tried to send me some med supplies, but had the wrong address. The package finally arrived, but had $2.27 postage due!

It's only a couple bucks, and I find it hilarious. It was worth paying just to have the story. I can't wait to confirm with them that I got the package.
