Often two things seem opposing, but are in fact both possible. For example Jimmy Stewart's character, Elwood P. Down in the excellent comedy "Harvey" says:

"In this world, you must be oh so smart, or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me."

I contend that both are possible. One can be smart, and pleasant.

Am I wrong?

Arrgh! For whatever reason, one of my meds didn't get refilled by mail from the VA. And, of course, it's the only one that if I miss a day of it really lays me out.

So I made the 2-hour, 30 mile trip to the VA hospital to fill it manually. Now, they're telling me "it was refilled by mail".

No. No it wasn't. Give it to me! Or, we can wait about 8 hours and I'll get some in the ER - if I make it to the ER alive.

They're giving me the refill.
