Its corrupt as hell, anti-democratic and there isn't a blue argument for keeping it. Popular voting would kill the GOP in one cycle.
Walz says the Electoral College ‘needs to go’
His comments are a painful reminder for Democrats of 2016, when Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by nearly 3 million votes but fell short of the 270 votes she needed in the Electoral College and lost to Donald Trump.

Fix Congress by finally ratifying Article the First.
The Bill of Rights had 12 amendments. The first one one of them set congressional representation at 1 : 50,000. There should be 6,000+ Congressmen.
Each Congressman has 15 aides, doing the actual work. They're unelected, and usually inexperienced. The Congressman has 2 jobs:
1) Raising money
b) Voting on bills as directed by the people giving them money
Article the First was brilliant and prescient. Turns out it takes 1 person to service the needs of 50,000 citizens. That's the ratio we have, but they're not elected.
There won't be a need to raise millions for re-election if you only need to reach 50,000.
Humans excel at logistics - set up a system and they'll figure out how to game it.
Instead of living and meeting all in DC, use live cams and convention centers. Certainly committees would be simple to run.
At least one Federal Building in every state with a SCIF, secure data to each Congressional district office - it's not rocket science. Besides, we can do rocket science if we want.

Hmmm
Gotta think on that one
