I remember when seeing a flag displayed in someone's window made me proud, not suspicious.

I remember when the word "patriot" was something more noble, and did not imply ignorance and racism

I remember when "christians" applauded the separation of church and state, and held in contempt such things as nationalism, deceit, foolishness and selfishness (although admittedly I led a sheltered life in my youth).

Looking for a bit of for verifying websites in profiles. I've been conversing with another CoSo user who is also trying, but we can't seem to make the website verification for profile metadata do anything. We've both added the anchor tag in question to our sites (I've had mine in place for at least 2 or 3 weeks) but not seeing any sort of verification symbol. Should there be one?

In "cheerier" news, the recent Giant Breach should help demonstrate, once again, that Big Silicon Valley Companies do not have better engineering than anyone else. It seems like this breach was a classic "surely no one would reverse-engineer my client, right?" authorization logic error. (*inserts plug for her AppSec practice here* :3 )

Their code is just as Swiss cheese as your average corporation's; they just have a High-Tech Reality Distortion Bubble and better UX.
