This George Santos, thing has gone from the ridiculous to the downright dangerous.
From Russia With Love.
Newly elected Congressman George Santos said in an interview during the Conservative Political Action Conference that “I’ve been to Moscow many times during my career.”

In honor of Nichelle's 90th Birthday on December 28th, the Nichelle Nichols Foundation has started its journey to continue Nichelle’s legacy and inspire the next generation. Boldly go!

I remember when seeing a flag displayed in someone's window made me proud, not suspicious.
I remember when the word "patriot" was something more noble, and did not imply ignorance and racism
I remember when "christians" applauded the separation of church and state, and held in contempt such things as nationalism, deceit, foolishness and selfishness (although admittedly I led a sheltered life in my youth).
Guess I'm an old now. Time to start wool-gathering and yelling at kids on my lawn.

How dare the Premier ignore my invitations?
He'll have to go
So, too, the bunch he luncheons with
It's second on my list of things to do
At the top is stopping by
Your place of work and acting like
I haven't dreamed of you and I
And marriage in an orange grove
You are the only thing
In any room you're ever in
I'm stubborn, selfish and too old
Looking for a bit of #help for verifying websites in profiles. I've been conversing with another CoSo user who is also trying, but we can't seem to make the website verification for profile metadata do anything. We've both added the anchor tag in question to our sites (I've had mine in place for at least 2 or 3 weeks) but not seeing any sort of verification symbol. Should there be one?
Trump, the walking crime scene, has a new crime. He appointed C. Rettig as IRS Dir. who wouldn't turn over Trump's tax returns to Congress & he wouldn't audit Trump's tax returns, both of which are required by law. All the while, he was earning $100K+ from Trump's Waikiki hotel. #Politics

I have a playlist called "Songs I Pulled Over For". It contains songs heard while driving that were so amazing, I had to pull over to devote full attention. Yesterday @yadayadayada shared a song that brought one of them back to memory.
When she lets loose, her voice is like warm honey, poured over black velvet. I love her voice. So does Leonard Cohen. Here is Perla Batalla singing Kindness. Luxuriate!

Islam is one of the three Abrahamic religions, along with Judaism and, yes, Christianity. you all have the same roots, the same Old Testament, you just argue over who is the "savior"... you argue so much that there are over 300 flavors of Christianity, because you can't even decide on your basic beliefs. don't go telling other people what to believe if you can't even figure it out yourself. Great Mother, you're all idiots.
The House report on IRS not auditing Trump left unanswered whether the “mandatory” presidential audit program was generally broken or Trump got special treatment. Turns out Obama got audited all 8 years & Biden’s already been audited twice. - Charlie Savage #TrumpTaxReturns #TrumpTaxes

Watching Mythic Quest and this was referenced. I haven't seen or heard it mentioned in ages, so here is what some might call a "bump"
In "cheerier" news, the recent Giant #Twitter Breach should help demonstrate, once again, that Big Silicon Valley Companies do not have better engineering than anyone else. It seems like this breach was a classic "surely no one would reverse-engineer my client, right?" authorization logic error. (*inserts plug for her AppSec practice here* :3 )
Their code is just as Swiss cheese as your average corporation's; they just have a High-Tech Reality Distortion Bubble and better UX.
“A spokesperson for the Texas Division of Emergency Management told ABC News in September that the state had spent more than $12 million on transporting the migrants, including charter buses and private security.”
Where did that $12 million come from? Our taxes.
Abbott is using tax money as if it was his own for political theater.
Abbott needs to be brought up on charges of human trafficking.

What do you get when you take a poem from Kurt Vonnegut, combine it with a very talented band that was discovered and promoted by Zubin Mehta, and then ask Alan Parsons to engineer/mix it all? An amazing song, from an equally amazing album. Here is Nice, Nice, Very Nice by Ambrosia.
Since I haven't made any Christmas picks yet, here are some perhaps-lesser-known-but-deserve-to-be-better-known tracks:
