The world is a dark place sometimes. But honestly, my family is what keeps me going. Goofing around with my wonderful wife, random Nerf shootouts with my son, and another son on the way, life has been throwing wrenches into the works, but it's still pretty damn good for me.
Hope life is good or will get better for all of you out there.
@mcfate oh yes. The amount of close ups on him, that would have been terrible.
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine thank you! Sadly that hat fell apart a while ago. But I did enjoy it and get plenty use out of it.
@Dobo yeah, both of my parents passed years ago (dad was 1999 and mom was 2008). Wasn't the executor, but I know it gets rough. Sorry for your loss and your headache.
So, made a thing, and showing it out.

Happy to have a working version that doesn't look completely shitty. Still got a lot of tweaks I want to make (some things look a bit weird on actual phones) and features I'd like to add later.
@0x56 yeah. That sounds bad. Sucks to deal with.
@0x56 curious about the context. Haven't had 5 minute wait times when I was learning Ruby for class.
Def believe there are good tools for certain situations, and Ruby isn't the best once you reach a certain scale.
But then, I mostly do data processing and manipulation using Python lately.
@0x56 "it will save you time in the long run" it feels like this is almost trying to be a pun.
I give Apple shit for the bad decisions they make that I don't like. I don't like the iPhone, I dislike the repairability and lack of ports on the MacBook Pro. But they make a damned good tablet.
About the only thing they make lately I am willing to spend money on. So much better than pretty much all the competition there. Got my wife an iPad and a Pencil for her birthday. Not a bad piece of tech.
