He may be driving me slowly crazy due to lack of sleep, but I love him so much. Can't wait to do more moulding and look forward to seeing both him and Gabe grow up.<3

Also not sorry that this feed is basically becoming baby updates. I hope my updates will return a bit to some normalcy once I get back to work can pass these first tumultuous weeks

Thank you all for the well wishes. Part if what I love about this place is that everyone is so supportive.

CoSo, meet Malcolm. Born 3/17/20 at 3:28pm. 9 pounds 15 ounces. 20.25 inches.

Baby and mommy are doing good.

Wife is having a C-section today. Will soon meet my son. Have a mask just in case (I have Cough Variant Asthma)

@ChippySuave my school system just sent out school for the next 3 weeks is out (including spring break) and a virtual learning thing will be announced tomorrow. Interesting times we are in

One week. Sometime in the next week, our baby will be here. Scheduled for the 17th, but you never know if he might come early.
Excited yet nervous. Still so much to do around the house.
Gonna be an interesting week.

So my wife just gave me a great cosplay prop idea.

Cosplay: Typing of the Dead agents.
Prop: Dreamcast Backpack with Battery, and a keyboard that actually shoots Nerf darts.

I may have to build this now.

@th3j35t3r no but maybe.

What she said is somewhat true about how that image could be interpreted, and nursing has largely been a career considered feminine.

But from the context of your other comments, I think one should not take that interpretation to heart.

So at a local gaming convention, all for mainly classic games. A room full of arcade machines all set to free play. This is a childhood dream.

Welcome to March. Excited and yet scared. Or maybe scared yet excited for the changes coming. Baby should be here March 17th, but could come early.

Gonna be a hell of a month.

Oh the joys of living near military bases. Midnight on a Friday, and I hear artillery going off. Yay training exercises.

@EnochianEntropy I'm still happy with my Ryzen 5 1600 overall. Don't feel your making a mistake at all. Just in general, if I can afford the newer one, I usually get it. But I also fully understand saving money for budget or even for a better graphics card or whatever.

@EnochianEntropy in general you should be fine. Only reason I'd say maybe get the newer chip is it might last slightly longer before you want to upgrade, but you can always upgrade later if you really want.

@ChippySuave keep it up. You are awesome and amazing.

I've spent years working on being a more positive person, and it has been more helpful than I can say.

On one hand, I'm a bit sad to step away from the competitive scene for a bit.

But on the other, I'm so stoked to try to do more digital versions of the game, and perfect my strategies.

I think I might be able to re-enter the competitive scene with a splash. And I am excited to try.

Today, as I reflect on my tournament yesterday, I legit feel I am starting to get "good". For a long time in X-Wing, the best I could hope for was a 50% record (which I got yesterday, 2-2). But all my games I lost we're against good players and I don't feel I made a lot of stupid mistakes. First game had some mistakes from inexperience with this list, but the rest I flew great. Hell, my second loss was tied going into the last round and my opponent was even completing how I flew my ships.

Came in 10th at an X-Wing tournament today. Probably my last for a bit due to new baby. But man, it was fun as hell.

@mcfate @voltronic thank you guys. This gives me a new Distro to try
