@CherNohio Be safe and warm. When it was early in our married life we lived in a “little house in the big woods” up on the mountain. When storms were a-comin we’d store up wood & food (diapers for the babies)& water because our water lines would plug up&we wouldn’t be able to get up to the spring until it calmed down. I always felt, in the foolishness of youth, adventurous as the creek turned into a white water beauty & the noise of the rain (never snow here) would pound upon the roof.
So, we’re (my classes & I) are going to watch Selma, starting today. It should take about 3 days. Any accompanying assignment ideas?

@CherNohio From all I’ve read (and I’ve read volumes about insomnia) what you did is the right thing. From what I remember from researching my issue, you should never lie abed longer than 45 minutes without sleep. Get up do something active (I scrub floors) and head back to bed again when you feel tired. Only problem is when there isn’t enough time when you finally feel tired again. My newest insomnia activity is combing my collie MacGregor.

@InvaderGzim Yeah we’re ma & pa & it’s 8:00 for us. Then again we are up at 3 AM. Then again praise-God we are not part of the base.

@yogapaddlerun @Evvie Take from one who knows. Geese can be scary. How scary? Very scary. They will chase you out and peck on your car door and window flapping wings and making a God awful racket, until you do the right thing...and leave. My youngest should probably have therapy due to ‘goose terror’ ptsd.
