Act your wage. Do only what you have agreed to do, for the $$ you are being paid. NOTHING more.

Why? Because employees who give more to the company than asked of them rarely receive recognition/rewards/promotions. Why?

They’re already getting more out of you for free. That’s the goal: more profits, fewer labor costs. Company thrives, you stagnate. No incentive to change status quo.

Act your wage. If that doesn’t work, get out. It’s their problem, not yours.

Something I notice a lot on here is folks jumping on and before they've even taken the time to set up a profile, announcing their arrival, seeking followers, and declaring that they follow back. This place is different. You don't need to build a fast following. We're equal with no followers or thousands. Just set up your profile and start posting. Likeminded people will find you in the firehose.
