Anyone on here seen all of Season 2 of Love, Victor?
I liked season 1, but halfway thru the 2nd episode of Season 2, as the Actors were called upon to portray gay males who are beginning to accept and embrace their homosexuality, I just started seeing two straight 21+ year old actors pretending to be gay 16/17 year olds.
They were trying their best, but it didn't "feel" authentic, and all I could see was Gay-Face.
Should I give it another try?
I would have been surprised if he hadn't endorsed it!

I'm currently about halfway thru his Ouvre, I've been binge reading them for the past 15 days or so.

Just got home from getting my hair cut. Stylist told me all about a 15y old client and his mother that she does hair for. The Mother was in last week and crying to the Stylist that Her son just came out!
Wait, even though it's Florida, it's not what you think... The Mother was crying because she had no clue, that he had been scared to tell her and was upset with HERSELF for not being able to help him earlier.
My stylist wondered how she could have NOT known the past 4y

As some of you may know, I think I've mentioned it, one of my guilty pleasures is reading m/m romance novels. Now putting aside Sturgeon's law, from time to time, I'll pick up a book where I find the writing is good, the story is engaging, and the world building is excellent...
and then the Female author will include the obligatory chapter to write a "hot sex scene".
It is usually painfully obvious to me she didn't consult with a male who has had sex with another male.

Observation:
My Husband and I are watching the Old Carol Burnett shows on Prime when we go to bed at night. We both grew up with them when they were first run (I told you I'm old).
So as I watch episodes from the late 60s... I gotta say, I had really forgotten the prevalence of encoded homophobic material in Comedy. And they aren't trying to be mean, it just never occurs to them that it's truly toxic. Lord knows I'm sure surprised I didn't remember it at all
