Speech wraps up. A very strong speech, with a very strong voice. The usual stutters here and there, wandering a little bit, but overall this was the strongest I've heard his voice in a long time. He spoke for 30 minutes.
Says that Kamala Harris "can be President of the United States."
The crowd starts chanting, "Four more years!"
"#Trump is lying like hell" about Biden's economic record in the black community -- record low black unemployment, record number of black-owned businesses.
Cut black child poverty in half. Intends to make that temporary law permanent.
Says that #Trump tried to "kick millions of black Americans off health insurance" by attempting to repeal the ACA "ObamaCare."
"The pandemic was especially devestating to the black community."
Trump spread the lie that Obama wasn't born in the US.
"It tells us a lot about the man, and about his character."
#Politics Breaking from #WaPo: President #Biden to announce support for major changes to #SCOTUS.
"President Biden is finalizing plans to endorse major changes to the Supreme Court in the coming weeks, including proposals for legislation to establish term limits for the justices and an enforceable ethics code, according to two people briefed on the plans."
BREAKING from #LATimes: Elon Musk says he's moving #SpaceX from California to Texas because of CA's new gender change law. π

#Politics Five Thirty Eight has lost some of its luster due to the decline in poll reliability, i.e. underestimating Democratic strength.
That said, 538 has #Biden winning the electoral college 276-262 over #Trump.
Assuming the underestimation continues, Biden is in pretty good shape, despite the pundits.
