#SpaceCoast The new #Tesla supercharger station at 8660 Astronaut Blvd. in Cape Canaveral. There are 12 stations; three cars were charging when I arrived, but two quickly left.

#SpaceX has had superchargers for years in the #KSC Pad 39A admin building parking lot but, unless you're badged for KSC access, they do you no good. This is the first supercharger station on north Merritt Island. I for one am endlessly delighted.

#California We toured Hearst Castle today. The man had enough money to feed several Third World nations, but spent it instead on a hideaway for the rich, powerful, and famous.

On the other hand, great works of architecture and art typically happen only a rich and powerful person commissions the work.

The place is filled with artwork acquired from around the world. I wondered how people in Egypt, Italy, Ireland, etc. feel about seeing their great works of art here and not there.

Good morning from a damp Costa Mesa, #California. Back in the OC for the first time since 2019.

The Mission Inn in Riverside CA is a unique experience. With roots going back to 1876, it was once the hub for global peace conferences. Its founder travelled the world collecting artifacts, that are displayed throughout the hotel. He designed the raincross symbol that was adopted as the city logo.

We stayed on Authors Row, so named because Hollywood screenwriters would stay here to get it away from it all and focus on their writing. #CoSoWriters
