We’re making an attempt at a small business startup in shopfront décor, and this is our first commission: a floral composition in the windows of a perfumes store.
My GF made these and I am in complete awe and in a state of stupefied admiration.
There are going to be around 20 of these altogether mixed with some twigs, foliage and stylized birds in flight.
I can’t wait to share the results with you, feeling extra proud already!

Belarus introduced the death penalty for "high treason" today.
#Putin has been trying to get #Lukashenko commit to his war effort against #Ukraine.
This move by the Belarus dictator today maybe an indicator of his having budged to Putin.
Elderly citizens of #Russia are now allowed to pay for their "communal services" in parts, like a banking loan.
Average pension is 12-15K rubles ($180/month) while communal services are around half of that. Eating is optional.

Rape culture in the regular army in #Russia is a well documented story.
As for ex inmates, their main employer, Prigozhin, frequently speaks about about divisions of "roosters" and divisions of rapists being kept apart at the front so as not to soil the dignity of the rapists.
I'm not joking like AT ALL.

I don't know too many Russians, but surely, surely they're not all running around over there saying OMG GAY PEOPLE ARE MY BIGGEST PROBLEM HELP!!!!
I suspect they have *actual* problems, and you, me, and a whole lot of everyday Russians know this.
Russia's entire army divisions consist of the so-called "roosters" (a derogatory term used for prison inmates victims of rape).
Russia's other army divisions consist of ex-inmates who'd raped other inmates.
Russia's regular army consists mainly of rapists and victims of rape.
Putin: "We must save our people from the degradation of the West which allows same-sex marriages!"
