As for ex inmates, their main employer, Prigozhin, frequently speaks about about divisions of "roosters" and divisions of rapists being kept apart at the front so as not to soil the dignity of the rapists.

I don't have the words. I'm sorry. I just hate everything about this. Those poor young men. (And women, I suppose, perhaps.) May they somehow be protected and freed from this horror, that is none of their doing.

I don't know too many Russians, but surely, surely they're not all running around over there saying OMG GAY PEOPLE ARE MY BIGGEST PROBLEM HELP!!!!
I suspect they have *actual* problems, and you, me, and a whole lot of everyday Russians know this.
