Oy. They ARE trying to out-Florida Florida, aren't they?
I've got the documentary on & will watch/listen later as I further unpack & organize.
Thanks!
I can't imagine how cool that is.
Bugs will always be my favorite.
That is beautiful! I love the color gradation.
Thanks! The move has happened, tho.
I'm dealing with the 'where do I want things?' phase.
That's lovely! Wow.
Hope all the moms out there had a good Mother's Day.
I'd planned to paint my workshop shed, but my son called at 8:30 am yesterday to ask if I'd watch the kiddos while he & my DIL played golf.
Of course, I agreed. 😀 Being here and able to do things like that is exactly why I moved to be nearer.
They are typical little kids (4 & 2), busy, happy, with moments of whine/cry.
I loved it.
Damn. I used to feel pretty good about making a few little dough leaves to decorate the top of my pie.
What a beautiful little girl. We often forget our parents were children once. Just as wonderous, and just as frightened at times.
Nice picture.
Thanks! Lots of blue drops moving here, so . . . maybe a lot more purple?
As much as Marianne Williamson doesn't come across well with the (unfathomable) presidential runs -
she wrote a lovely bit about the dignity of living and working the 'normal' parts of life in her book, 'Everyday Grace.'
A wonderful way to think about the daily things we do that contribute to a serene and happy life for ourselves and our families.
No matter what it's like, it can't be as batcrap crazy as Florida!
Awww. . . Thanks.
Statesville, I think, is about a 4 hour drive?
Yikes! How lucky that they found it.
Thank you! I've already met several neighbors & was invited to play cards today. Not bad.
