5-6 hours drive. But I'll go there, bc my brother lives there.

After facing the interminable length of Florida, a 5 hour drive seems like nothing.

Since last Monday - been in the process of moving to NC.

Finally getting settled here. Still chaotic, but in the house. Took a week to get internet - line to the house was corrupted.

Anyway, happy to be back among you. I like hanging out here for a few hours every morning. 😀

Had a family reunion of sorts a couple weeks ago. It was so much fun - BUT -

the best(!) part was learning that my previously born-again evangelical sister (who is no longer any of that) who is still a hard-right Republican -

all 5 (Five!) of her adult children are liberals/Dems now.

That made me soooo happy.

I chaired the raffle for SleuthFest (the FMWA's annual writers conference) for 9 years before becoming Co-Chair of the whole shebang the following 4 years.

This was 2014 in Orlando. I miss those days and lots of those people.
