I don't particularly like stretching & exercising every morning -

but I'm technically a senior citizen now, & I refuse to be a weakling in the coming elderly years. I want to be strong. For me, for my kids, for my grandchildren.

And so, I play the grown up & I do what must be done to be who I want to be.

Added benefit: I feel stronger emotionally, too.

I LOVE getting older. ❤️ 💪

Had a family reunion of sorts a couple weeks ago. It was so much fun - BUT -

the best(!) part was learning that my previously born-again evangelical sister (who is no longer any of that) who is still a hard-right Republican -

all 5 (Five!) of her adult children are liberals/Dems now.

That made me soooo happy.

Got the car insurance quote for when I move out of South Florida to the Wilmington, NC area.

It's going from $300.00 month to $87.00 month!!

Florida is soooo screwed up. Costing more & more to live here every year.

I found a house to rent in NC!

Last night, the panic set in. Lord, do I have a lot to do now.

I hate moving, but am very excited about being close to the grands.

My nana was Irish. Strong as hell woman, she was. In every way.

We're all a wee bit Irish today.

Finally finished the family room I was working on up in Boca.

Did every bit of the work, including building the custom display cabinets for her collections of miniature things.

Here's before and after. The TV will be hung on the wall, wires, hidden, etc.
