I don't particularly like stretching & exercising every morning -

but I'm technically a senior citizen now, & I refuse to be a weakling in the coming elderly years. I want to be strong. For me, for my kids, for my grandchildren.

And so, I play the grown up & I do what must be done to be who I want to be.

Added benefit: I feel stronger emotionally, too.

I LOVE getting older. ❤️ 💪

I too am working on that exercise thing. Trying to lose a few pound while being stronger.

Let's crush this stereotype.

@VictoriaLandis1 Hi! from one Nana to another. I feel ya - if I don't do all the back stretches I can't get out of bed!

@VictoriaLandis1 If I don't do my back exercises I pay! I play loud happy music & feel good to cross it off the list!

@VictoriaLandis1 I am curious what makes one technically a senior? My great grandgirl is driving! I recommend long walks in the morning.

@BFBucky1

Well, I figured since they MADE me sign up for Medicare, that technically makes me a senior citizen.

Do I feel like one? Hell, no.
Do I look like one? I think I don't . . .
Am I in better physical health than my (younger than me) SO? Why, yes. I am.

😀 😎

@VictoriaLandis1
That is great. Good health is important. Keep it up.

@BFBucky1

Oh, I plan to. I refuse to be weak or frail into my final years.

Although, I have told my kids my plan is to live to 120. (You should see them cringe. 😜 )

@VictoriaLandis1 In the same boat, have to keep walking to keep PVD at bay. I DON'T particularly like getting older.
