If you didn't do early voting or vote by mail (I did) then look in your newspaper, watch your local news channel, or check online to confirm your voting hours on election day. Make sure the information on your voter ID and state ID or DL matches. Make sure the polling place on your voter ID hasn't changed (In my town they frequently do). At the polls, follow all instructions so your ballot isn't disqualified or misread. Ask poll workers if you need help or assistance.
I have to believe that SOMEONE on Trump's team has explained to him, that - should he win this election - JD Vance & his guys plan to 25th amendment him asap. I mean, if we've heard it - he has, too.
While I hope/pray/wish/plead with the universe that he loses (and big!) - if he wins - all hell will break loose on their side. Orange ass will try to eliminate Vance the threat asap, too.
Crazy shit would happen.
My DIL is finishing her Masters and is creating an app for homeschooling families, to be able to find/access resources in their local area. She's looking for feedback on the app's progress so far (not finished yet). If you have ever homeschooled, and if you're on FB, here's her post about it. TIA!
The 3rd writing workshop in my current series is next Sat. Oct. 26th from 1-3pm at Upstairs Hampstead.
How To Invent People
(Building Characters)
If you know any writers in the Wilmington, NC, area, please pass the word?
It's interactive & fun - really. Lots of examples, practice, and a meaty hand out, too.
Thanks! 😀

Excellent article (gifted, but may have to 'sign up'. Hate that.) about the impact of climate change for every county in the USA.
Scroll down - there's a chart. Worth reading the article, too.
I'm glad Tampa didn't get a direct hit. And I'm sorry Siesta Key did.
We'll see what's what after the sun comes up.
Is it wrong for me to hope at least some of the people who have just been hit 2x in the last 2 weeks maybe, just maybe reconsider rebuilding by the coast?
As long as I live, I'll never understand why building homes/apts on barrier islands is ever allowed.
