BREAKING: Journalists are acknowledging that if Trump wins the election, this may be the last White House Correspondents Dinner. Trump doesn’t believe in a free press.

Before the dog killing story, Kristi Noem's editor removed other content that was considered unseemly. Makes you wonder what else was in her memoir.

“Travelers to unknown regions might be well advised to take along the family dog. He could just save you from entering the wrong gate. At least it happened that way once-in a mountainous area of the Twilight Zone.”

Apropos of nothing, PostNews is being absorbed into Spoutible. When muskrat destroyed Twitter, ppl fled to many platforms. Now they are starting to consolidate.

Sara Amundson, president of the Humane Society Legislative Fund — the lobbying arm of the Humane Society of the United States — said in a statement that “there is no redeeming takeaway from a story about the ending of these animals’ lives, including a juvenile dog who was the family pet.”

Rump and Noem’s disregard for animals reflects their disregard for everything else. Cruelty is the point. For 120 years every president has had a pet in the White House. Not the orange menace.

The result would be that a corrupt and criminal President could run legally untouchable criminal syndicate out of the White House, and every one of his minions would be exempt from prosecution–as long as they stayed within the President's good graces. If they looked like 'flipping,' he could just withdraw his cloak of protection and send them (but not him) to jail.

Post a picture with your dog that doesn’t involve shooting them and throwing them in a gravel pit. This one is mine.

“As DNC’s canine companions, we’ve heard a lot from our owners about just how extreme and dangerous Donald Trump and his far-right MAGA allies are — but nothing could prepare us for the truly disturbing and horrifying passages Kristi L. Noem willingly chose to put in her new book,” the statement said. The DNC.

"The outpouring of animal love from political social media is all in response to South Dakota Gov. Kristi L. Noem (R) — who is believed to be in the running to be Donald Trump’s running mate — admitting in her forthcoming book that she killed a family dog and goat in a gravel pit with a gun on the same day." Washington Post

I mean, she shot a GOAT too? Like why??? Adam Kinzinger

Prediction: Trump puts Noem on the ticket. MAGA embraces puppy killing, going as far as doing a live puppy execution on stage at the GOP convention to own the libs. The New York Times gives substantial coverage to both sides of the puppy killing debate. via @WokeSenator
