@Graci ooof.. I've had it in the bed too, though not recently, since "my" cat has passed. My hubby's cat has taken to sleeping with me (we're temp in separate beds, because we're in a different house) and he's a *very* loud piker. No sleeping through it. Lol

I feel like, when people realize they don't need either Daddy, or Me, or any of the other boogeymen they use to justify their lives and choices (that they are the authority to judge their own), they're finally ready to try and make grownup decisions.
People credit and blame gods and monsters for the gods and monsters that dwell within.
You cannot master what you won't own up to.

@chromogirl I have been *trying* to get my husband to watch Schitt's Creek, but he finds it too cringy. I keep trying to get him to hold on til it gets better, but he's being very resistant. lol
But yes, I agree with you! I watch West Wing usually at least annually, because it's the best show ever made. lol
Late, late meeting last night for a convention I help run. Didn't get done til 11pm. I'm kinda dragging today. Oof.
@chromogirl I do that all the time with my hubby. Most of the shows we watch together, I've already watched a least one season. Lol

Today a trans friend of mine held on for a hug longer than she usually does. She then began to cry into my shoulder and choked “Thank you that you at least try to understand me”.
It broke my heart. I just want to scream “People are suffering! People you love are suffering! Stop buying into the rhetoric that dehumanizes good people!”.

I've been online since before the net was public. Long before AOL, when it was mostly libraries and just a few colleges.
I remember when the net was "empty" and people could only be found in pockets of communities that were built around commonalities and curiosity. When if there were more than 10 people on at one time in the same online space, it was a real party. 🎉🤣

My lovelies, it's 2023, we are not making ourselves smaller so someone else can feel big. That's a very 1900's thing and we're a couple decades past that.
We can respect boundaries without devaluing ourselves to fit someone's misconceptions about us.
