Hey ! 👋 For my upcoming article at about my first week here, I've put together a visual guide for the new free-account user, to help them make sense of the maybe-new-to-them layout.

I thought it might be a good shareable resource right away for the crowd, too, though, so I hope this is useful for others just getting started.🤞 If you see someone confused, please feel free to send this image along!

Hooray! We're back in business! Poor J has been working overtime on this one! Thank you for all the headaches, sleepless nights, asshole hunting, and bug squashing you wade through to keep this haven afloat. 🧡 ( also for the amount of snark and clapback entertainment we get while it happens!)

If you can folks, consider going pro, or dropping a few dubloons into the donor box to keep the ship sailing smoothly!

@JimmyJoAndTheMojo Whoa, haven't heard that tune in decades...thanks for the walk back!

@Blue_Skyesr_here
It's almost as if we recognized that we were all overdressed in out best defences, hypervigilant for expected slights and shoulders squared to bounce off snarky remarks, When that didn't happen, we all changed in to our shorts and sandles, grabbed a six pack to drink on the beach together.. People just being decent people again, disgarding all the trappings of the bird world.

@Qbae Things may be different than we initially visualize them, but once we adjust, then everything absolutely is alright. The added bonus is that we've also learned something new and valuable. We've grown.

@frankp @KarlFuzz There are watchers and helpers who just wait to be called upon for this very thing. When things are lost, they are my go-to team in revealing the item to me.

@Artanzo Fins versus feet. Both perfect for the needs of frogs and fish.

@Artanzo Not an easy perspective to draw but you have done a super job. Loving the soft tones and hues used to suggest submerged sections. Tells us your inspiration for this lovely drawing...!

@Targas_Taargas Not grounded in anything other than internal feeling, but I do sense a shift to something more hopeful on the horizon. It's like we are all waiting until this election is over to get on with breathing and finding our way out of this chaos and fog.

@BJanineMorison I use the @link of my username located in the first column.

It's kinda nice to not be manipulated by an algorithm, isn't it?

Just saying, but if your coming in from twitter expecting ratio's, follow for follows, likes, and retweets, that's not what this place is all about. Yeah we share each others posts from time to time, but it's really about community and looking after one another.
It's a safe place here, we look out for each other, and we don't tolerate hate speech, bullying, or any of that nonsense passive aggressive crude either.

@misslovelymess Time gives the illusion of being a straight line, but really we're all actually riding on a spiral ferris wheel. Buckle up but never stop waving your hands!

Listening to Rachel Maddow's Ultra. Damn good. Hostile foreign influence campaigns penetrating our government and bribing sitting members of Congress, America First resurgence, propaganda distribution methods, coverups....a mirror. We've been here before and MUST prevail.

@KendraLittle Make sure you save it in "Untitled Folder" for safe keeping.

@th3j35t3r Think of it this way J, you now have fill the largest stadium in the US. No one can run the ticket sales, concession stands, security team, help desk, film crew, host the teams, and officiate the game. I'm sure I can speak for many when I say - "We are more than happy to help out however we can to help this home team win."

@th3j35t3r We've got your back and believe in your vision....Think of us as little jokers just trying to keep the crowds happy until they find their own way to navigate and settle in.You've got enough on your plate
going on.

What say you.
Should we drop the prefix CoSo from hashtags?

@catmachine Thanks for sharing your writing. I can relate to Wendi's pondering about those who appear devoid of empathy. Over time, I have come to differentiate between those who fail to display empathic feelings outside their small circle of family, pets, friends, acquaintances versus those who are so damaged (or oddly wired) as to meet diagnostic criteria of classic sociopathy. Group A (the far larger group) at least has empathy in their repertoire & could learn/choose to extend. No so with B.
