@floryloughead almost went with red velvet, now kind of wishing I did. But I went with German chocolate to accentuate the rest of my breakfast; some coffee chip ice cream.
@floryloughead no I'm thinking German chocolate, possibly carrot.
@Vixey born and raised, and admittedly really dislike it here. I do relish the jabs though
@Jule_B yeah I liked a lot of Luke Bryan songs but I cannot abide by that at all.
@RandomSnakeFacts go into your profile, under Preferences check the box that says Enable Ostrich Mode, then scroll down and click Save Changes.
@Vixey as an Alaskan I want to find this offensive but I can't because it's pretty spot on. Lol
@Challengeaccepted fuh, I'm gonna end up having cake for breakfast tomorrow I just know it.
@66ALW99 That's a trauma response. There's definitely an adjustment period, takes some time to let your guard down, which is understandable. While many of us might not see eye to eye on a number of things, we at least choose to be civil. The people here are pretty nice and cool, I've found. ππ
@Challengeaccepted I already know my posts are trash but at least they aren't offensive.
I did flip off a kitten once though. So there's that.
@Challengeaccepted i could probably eat that whole thing, but I wouldn't want to. Excellent work!π
@WeThePeople what a pair of clown shoes that guy is smfh
@jsto right on, I'll keep that in mind. I'm US so it works out. Thanks for the tips! I think I made a GR account some time ago but never used it. I'm not a HUGE reader, though I'm trying to be.
@JohnnyGenX you're under no obligation to be positive, just respectful. People have problems and issues and gripes of all sorts, and what good is a social media platform if we're dissuaded from discussing them? You're free to speak your mind, as long as it isn't hate speech.π
@jsto so I saw, your series' sounds pretty interesting and a nice change of pace from my usual fantasy-esque reads. Going on my TBR list for sure. π
@jsto that sounds pretty groovy, I'm into utopia/dystopia stuff, I'll for sure check it out. I've run out of shows to watch and books to read.
@knomia it's kind of a big deal. https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/alaska/mooses-tooth-anchorage-ak/amp/
It's really the only thing I'd miss if/when I escape. My favorite pizza is the Santa's Little Helper. π
@LazMorgenstern massive enough, and very temperamental as well.

The rabbits here know when I wake up and when I step outside with a bag of carrots they all hop out and come running over to me. I love them very much. They also play with the mooses.
@knomia we have what's referred to as a brain drain here. People get degrees and then they leave and don't come back. It's hard to keep professional staff it seems.
And mosquitos are the bane of my existence. I don't kill flies or spiders but mosquitos are on sight.
When you do visit again though, try to go to Moose's Tooth in Anchorage, DELICIOUS food. Or Bear's Tooth if you'd prefer a theater setting. Same company and food.
@jsto I've heard of that one I think but I don't think I've heard much of it. What's it about?
Dogs whisper their secrets to me, and I keep each and every one of them.
