@LazMorgenstern that's awesome! Ravens are super smart, they remember that stuff. I have a horde of wild rabbits that I feed, one of them I've tamed and he lets me pet him.

Also got to stick my hand in a moose's mouth last year, that was fun. Even if they're not your own animals, I've got tons of pictures of other people's animals that I like to share, just because I think more people should see them.

@jsto Indeed. Honestly if I were a lawyer I'd be very pro-bono especially when giving out advice. Like, people need to know how the stuff works and so few do, it's very convoluted and strict. You really have to have the right mind for it.

And of course it's always about the money. Money money money. I am very much not about the money.

@LazMorgenstern thank you! And yeah a big part of this place is mostly nature and animal posts, it's pretty chill. Occasionally we go on benders where we spam animal pictures to raise money for the site. Idk how it works but it does. It's a lot of fun

@AmeliaKayne constant discourse to get engagements to keep people posting to keep ad revenue. Hate is addictive and easily monetized, and that's mostly what Twitter is about.

But that's where my friends are, so I can't really leave. At least there's also a lot of genuine hilarity on there as well.

@jsto nothing specific really, just dealing with any legal things, like a small claims case I filed, and getting help, they're so literal and .. lawyerly. I probably would've made a good one if I tried. Doesn't seem like much fun though.

@knomia my understanding is the colder it is, the brighter the lights, typically. We do have the best pizza in the country in Anchorage, so there is that. But I was born and raised here. Though I've gotten out a few times I kept screwing up and had to come back. At least the summers are really nice here.

@AmeliaKayne it's a much better place to be. Disagreements are civil, trolls are deftly squashed, and zero hate speech whatsoever. It's nice here. πŸ˜‰πŸ‘

@Eviestorm all my friends live in Melbourne and I have a hard time keeping up with the 19 hour time difference. I'm usually up until 6 or 7am with them. It's exhausting but they're worth it.

@knomia no, sadly, I'm really not. This is not a good place to live. Great to visit though, but living here is fairly dreadful. Some people love it but it's not for me. It looks good from afar.

@AmeliaKayne welcome aboard! You'll find lots of writers and night owls here for sure. If you have any questions or need any help finding your way around just feel free to ask. Lots of people willing to help out. πŸ™

@LazMorgenstern this is a good habit to have, and one I've never been able to maintain for more than one session. Congrats to youπŸ‘

@knomia they don't happen super often but it's always nice when they do. We usually get a heads up on a weather report if the lights are gonna be out.

@LisaHarris it's 500 characters, a pretty nice chunk.πŸ‘

@knomia figured you were further north, the borealis doesn't really get that bright down where I am. Great shots though. πŸ‘

@RandomSnakeFacts I believe Ctrl + will zoom you in, for your profile just click your picture or tag next to one of your posts and it should take you to where you can edit your profile.

The mobile app is a bit more manageable.

@RandomSnakeFacts it does take some getting used to but it's highly customizable. One thing that helped me is going into Profile Preferences and enabling Ostrich Mode. Gets rid of a lot of the excess features many people might not be interested in. Just make sure to click Save Changes if you do. πŸ‘

@djay7000 one of my tips to make navigating around a bit easier is by going into your profile, checking Preferences and enabling Ostrich Mode. Gets rid of some of the excess elements that a lot of people aren't super interested in right off the bat. Just make sure you click Save Changes when you do. πŸ‘

@hammam I loved Evoland quite a bit, the second one as well. Both very good and interesting games.
