@Shelter so you're ready to watch the sequel now
@cornered
Nooooo thank you.
It sent my favorite film guy into a rant that was hilarious but it's incredible to me. At least the first one knew what it was. Apparently the second one actually tries to take itself seriously.
Nah I'm good.
@Shelter but it's a sequel to a horrible movie. You can laugh at the absurdity of it all.
After Dan's review I went from waiting for streaming to waiting for cable and possibly leaving it on while I do chores.
@Shelter it’s awful; and they keep making them! 🦈
@Shelter When I saw the original (2018), I went in with low expectations and time to kill. I was at the barbershop and waiting for my turn to get in the chair. I doubt I'll watch the new one unless circumstances are similar.
I might have started it already primed for irritation because it came on right after Jurassic World.
Which is highly irritating.
Yesterday was a bad pain and exhaustion day and I stayed in the recliner. I binged all of Extraordinary Birder with Christian Cooper and it was delightful and then TNT showed all three Jurassic Park films and I just sat and watched quality decrease all day.
The only thing that keeps Jurassic World from being complete trash to me is that it manages to have two likable characters.
Gray and Barry.
Two.
The Meg- I didn't even care about the little girl and they killed off the only potentially likable character in the beginning.
@Shelter The what now?
Y'all I happily sat through Ghost Shark on SyFy.
The Meg was - why are they spending millions of dollars on these?
