Okay, SO - for anyone that wants to help broaden the signal of the LGBTQ resources links, feel free, I'm going to try pinning it to my profile page so folks can get quick access to the list. I've been boosting signal on Discord through a number of communities I'm part of as well as Threads (Yes, I have an account on there, hngh, it's temporary if the mods there swipe my list down.)
Some dating advice for those that might still be searching for the right person for them: Ask about their political views. I know it's incendiary, but at least then you have a clear idea on whether or not they will have your back when it comes down to the brass knuckles. #PersonalThoughts

I used to avoid people so they couldn't make me live by their ways.
But I have discovered a special joy in finding that there are people who I admire or love enough that I will willingly choose to modify my behavior on their behalf, or to their good.
Too long we've followed rules, obligations, when we can _choose_ love, choose to restrict the swing of our arms out of concern for others' noses, choose to reach out and help.
My love is not a shackle. It is the rigging in my sails.
