Man the food they cooked at the conference looks amazing! They had Iron Chef competitions and cooked so many recipes. Came home reinvigorated about their mission at work.

Welp…we knew the cool weather wouldn’t last too long. But daaamn going from 70s and 80s to 110+ in a week is going to hurt? 😳😢🥵

Happy Father’s Day wishes to all the Dads and the as good as Dads out there. Hope you have a great day.

I was lucky and had two great Dads. Both good men despite their flaws. They were there for me and that’s the most important part.

Miss you both…

My “canopy” turned out well, just need a few binder clips to neaten it up. The green beans are poppin’ and the apricots are huge! They loved the rains we got.

First one in the area for the season. It must be the fire we saw on the way home from Grass Valley. Loma Rica had a big fire a few years ago. Family I know escaped as their fence caught on fire.

How is my night and tomorrow am going to go? 🤔🫣😳😱🥺😭

A friend sent me this glorious photo of Hot Creek, near Mammoth Lakes, where I think we all went skinny dipping as teens. The water is warmed by the volcanic activity in the area and feels so great when the ground is covered in snow. Sometimes I really miss the home range.

Picked two artichokes and can’t wait to try them. Three years ago I bought seeds and all four grew. They turned out to be four different types. One looks strange but I’m thinking think one is grown for the huge heart. It’s really big! 🤤

Thinking of all the Gold Star families, the friends and comrades of those lost and our Nation today in this day set to remember their sacrifices.

The air was awful in the Sac Valley today! Not from fires but from the frenzy of agriculture work happening everywhere. The bad air day we had made for a pretty sunset though.

About to start the tedious part of with …loading the beads in the cords in proper order and the right number of them. It’s the slow boring section that leads to the faster and more fun part. This is another gift. It’s for my daughter’s mil’s 75th bday.

The eyelashes on this little girl…they kill me! She’s just too much!! So happy my dad and sil adopted her. She’d been abandoned on a rainy night in front of a Veterinarian’s office with a sad, sad, note. Wish we could let them know she is doing really well!
